About Devesh Gupta

The Owner of Prudent Law and an Experienced Commercial Lawyer.

Devesh Gupta earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario in 2012. Before attending law school, he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

After completing law school, Devesh had the unique opportunity to article with the City of London, Ontario. During this time he gained invaluable experience in the fields of litigation, municipal law, planning law, and real estate law.

While articling with the City of London, Devesh had the exceptional opportunity to conduct several trials independently, allowing him to earn valuable courtroom and litigation experience. He also gained exposure to the nuances of municipal liability in matters of construction and civil litigation.

Devesh’s drive for success then led him to a prominent firm on Bay Street where he learnt the nuances of contract drafting and corporate law. He continued this work at a long-standing firm in Mississauga, where he honed his corporate, civil litigation, and real estate skills.

Omar Saab

Experienced Corporate & Commercial Lawyer

Omar is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Law practice, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and a broad range of commercial transactions. He has extensive experience in Real Estate Law, including commercial sales and purchases, land development, and commercial leasing. Omar also regularly advises on secured financing transactions, assists clients in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, and provides practical day-to-day legal advice.

His practice spans a wide variety of industries, and he has represented both national and international clients in sectors such as real estate, dentistry, franchising, and farming.

Outside of work, Omar enjoys spending time with his large family and is a devoted supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

Family lawyer

Anteneh Kassa is a family lawyer who focuses exclusively on family law. His practice includes divorce, parenting disputes, child and spousal support, and complex property division. He is a results-driven advocate known for his strategic focus and relentless commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes.

Anteneh earned his B.A. (Honours) in Behavioural Neuroscience from McMaster University and his J.D. from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2014. During law school, he volunteered with the Community Legal Services Clinic, assisting clients with uncontested divorces.

After law school, Anteneh articled at a litigation firm in Hamilton, where he gained experience across a broad range of litigation files. He later delivered legal seminars through the Hamilton Justice Education Network. In addition to his family law practice, Anteneh served as an adjunct professor at Georgian College, where he taught Wills & Estates to aspiring legal professionals.
